*waves* HI! I'm Kate, a 27 year old, single mom from mid-Michigan. My 2 year old daughter means the world to me. I work as hard as I can to make sure she has everything she needs in life. I have a tendency to gush about her a lot in my posts. You have been warned *snicker*.

I am extremely busy being a single mom, working two jobs, and volunteering at my church, but I promise you I do have hobbies. I love writing, reading, creating icons/graphics, running LJ communities, watching movies and the like. I'm really just like a normal person, so if you want to chat, just hit me up. I bet we have something in common.

Lastly, this journal was mostly created for my love of writing Harry Potter fan fiction, but I've also been known to write anything from poetry and haikus to song lyrics and an original fiction story/book. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but definitely had my first breakthrough in the 3rd grade. Since then, writing has become a passion. If you like (or even don't like) something of mine you have read, please leave me feedback. I love to hear what people have to say, so long as you're not flaming me, of course.
